October 2010

This October, as many families and kids prepare to go back to school, it's important to remember that educating and molding the life of a young person does not end in the classroom. One program that continues to build influential relationships with our children is Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. To learn more about the program or see how you can get involved, click here.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America helps children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-on-one relationships with measurable impact. Big Brother and Big Sisters' vision is successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to better schools, brighter futures, and stronger communities for all.

You can share the kinds of activities you already like to do with your "Little" Brother or Sister, such as:

  • Shooting hoops
  • Playing a board game
  • Going on a hike
