Wow i like this show it just states that you can change the future but the outcome still stays the same, So what AL did was brave all he did was give his life in exchange for the Women life, But here is the kicker even if he did change the future it doesn't change the outcome because the guys daughter who's in the army could still die in a future episode and all the other events could still happen, remember there is always something called Cause and Affect. But that's why this show is so good because you will never know what's going to happen next.
