Daytime Emmy Award-winner Billy Miller joined GENERAL HOSPITAL in October 2014. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Miller is the middle of three children and was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas - a suburb of Dallas. He attended the University of Texas, Austin, earning a degree in the film department's Production Sequence, a highly prestigious program with only twenty students accepted annually. Upon graduation, Miller moved to Los Angeles. While working in the mailroom of an entertainment management / production company, Miller decided, after encouragement (a dare) from friends, to pursue a career as an actor. His first successes came from the commercial world, quickly booking multiple national ads. Miller's theatrical career began with the role of "Richie Novak" on ABC's long-running drama ALL MY CHILDREN. Later, he joined THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in the role of "Billy Abbott." In late 2013, Miller appeared in multiple projects that included the lead, opposite Harvey Keitel, in FATAL HONEYMOON as well as The CW's RINGER. Other highlights include: JUSTIFIED, CASTLE, SUITS, MAJOR CRIMES and CSI. Billy made his big screen debut opposite Bradley Cooper in Clint Eastwood's AMERICAN SNIPER. He also starred in Adam Silver's BAD BLOOD. An avid boxer, Miller currently resides in Los Angeles. He proudly supports Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where he spent five years as a patient.
