William deVryJulian Jerome
William deVry joined the cast of General Hospital in 2013 and stars as charming, yet dangerous crime boss, Julian Jerome. Julian is torn between the life of crime and the love of his family.
William deVry was born and raised in Montreal, Canada where he learned fluent French and Quebecois culture. As a child, deVry traveled to many places including Guinea Africa, where he lived for several years. Originally, he wanted to become a baseball player. However, while in college, a friend suggested he attend acting classes (for fun) and by doing so, deVry's dream career changed.
DeVry is also known in the daytime world for his role as villainous Michael Cambias on ABC's All My Children, in which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy® for Best Supporting Actor in 2003. His other TV credits include The Bold and the Beautiful, Cedar Grove, Beauty and the Beast, Castle, NCIS, InSecurity, Nikita, Earth Final Conflict, Beggars and Choosers and StarGate SG-1.
His mother, Diane, is the grand-daughter of Herman DeVry, founder of the DeVry Institute. DeVry currently lives in the Los Angeles area and also maintains a residence in Florida.
Julian Jerome is a former mobster and current owner of Charlie's Pub in the Charles Street District of Port Charles. He and his sister, Ava Jerome, are the children of infamous mob boss Victor Jerome. Julian holds a major torch for his ex-wife Alexis Davis. He is also a father of three children: Sam McCall, Lucas Jones, and Leo Falconeri.
