Welcome to the How to Get Away with Murder Recap of Season 2, Episode 8, "Hi, I'm Philip" (Original Airdate Thursday, November 12, 2015). Philip makes a threatening move and ADA Emily Sinclair may have figured out a way to take down Annalise. Meanwhile, Catherine and Caleb are forced to make a life changing decision. We just found out about Philip in episode 7 "I Want You to Die." Philip is an unknown cousin to the Hapstall children. He pays an unexpected visit to Oliver following a failed stakeout by Frank, Laurel, Michaela and Connor. Annalise is trying to see if they can place Philip at the crime scene and introduce him as a suspect in the Hapstall case.

Caleb and Catherine Are Offered Plea Deals
Prosecutor Emily Sinclair (Guest Star Sarah Burns) pulls off a plea deal tactic this week to see if Caleb (Guest Star Kendrick Sampson) and Catherine (Guest Star Amy Okuda) will confess to their crimes. Annalise sees this as a desperation move since there's a possibile suspect in the case. After receiving the offer, Caleb and Catherine ask for more time to think it over.

Annalise Uses the Wiretap to Her Advantage
After finding out Prosecutor Sinclair has a wiretap in the house, Annalise takes full advantage of it by making Sinclair believe the murder weapon is at the Hapstall home. The diversion helps negate the plea deal that needed to be agreed to by 5pm.

Catherine's Secret is Revealed
During a late night of studying, Wes takes a closer look at the painiting Catherine created for him. Wes remembers a very similar painting in the background of a photo of Philip. He tells Annalise and Nate that Catherine and Philip are working together. We then see Catherine waiting in the car for Philip, who tells her everything will be ok. Did Catherine and Philip murder her parents?
