Welcome to the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. recap for “A Wanted (Inhu)Man,” season 3 episode 3 (original airdate October 13, 2015). With Agent Jemma Simmons back in the fold, S.H.I.E.L.D. is slowly coming back together, but of course, there's never a break when you're tasked with keeping the Earth safe. After battling Lash in the hospital, Lincoln Campbell popped up on Rosalind Price's radar, so now she's sent her Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ATCU) to find him and bring him in, putting him on the run.

Hunter Becomes the Hunted

In their quest to find Grant Ward, Agent Lance Hunter and Agent Melinda May follow a lead: One of Hunters contacts might be involved with Hydra. The contact might be willing to help, but Hunter has to fight in an underground bare-knuckle match to find out:

While he's in the ring, May is accosted by some men with bad intentions, getting May into some fisticuffs as well. When Hunter's fight takes a bad turn, he reaches for an advantage -- and may have gone too far.

Lincoln and Daisy Get Close

While running from the ATCU, Lincoln holes up with a friend. But once he learns Lincoln's true nature, he suffers a heart attack, something Lincoln feels is his fault. Agent Daisy Johnson, who's trying to bring Lincoln safely to S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ before the ATCU finds Lincoln dealing with some serious self-loathing, and Daisy wants to be there for him like he was for her. They share an intimate moment before Agent Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie comes in with some bad news:

Director Phil Coulson was meeting with Rosalind while this was going down, and was able to cut a deal with her -- initially to give up Lincoln in exchange for Daisy's safety. But Lincoln escaped, and Coulson had to use the only bargaining chip he had left: S.H.I.E.L.D. Their agencies will work together in some capacity to find Inhumans together. Daisy, quite reasonably, is skeptical of the arrangement.

Fitzsimmons on a Real Date?

Agent Leo Fitz takes Agent Jemma Simmons out for dinner -- like they'd planned to do before she was swallowed up by the monolith in the Season 2 finale. He rented out the entire restaurant so she wouldn't be troubled by distractions. (Simmons has been easily startled upon her return.) She definitely appreciates the gesture...but it's also clear she's not quite ready for this:

So where does that leave the two of them? And how exactly will Coulson play nice with the ATCU, an agency whose goals of bringing in Inhumans clashes with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s own goal to do the same? Tell us your theories in the comments!
