Welcome to the official Quantico Season 1, Episode 8 recap for "Over" (original airdate November 15, 2015). Previously on Quantico: It’s midterm exam time at Quantico where the NATS are given an explosive assignment which results in some people going home for good. In the future, Alex continues to try and clear her name, finding Nimah and Raina who provide more questions than answers leaving Alex and the world to wonder, “who can you really trust?”
The FBI Gets Hacked
An unknown hacker has released all the classified documents about the Grand central investigation from the Deputy Director’s servers. Now Alex has everything she needs to clear her name once and for all.
Clayton Asks Caleb to Scrub His Emails
Sooner or later someone is going to learn about his affair with Shelby. Clayton says it’s important so it doesn’t derail Caleb’s mother’s bid for VP, but in reality it’s to protect himself. Caleb will do it, but points out he can’t un-send an email. Clayton is way ahead of him, hands him the phone he confiscated from Shelby, and asks him to scrub her personal account too.
The Terrorists are Building a 2nd Bomb
After sifting through the leaked evidence, Alex put two realizes that the terrorists are building a second bomb. Grand Central was just a dry run and without this fuse she found at her apartment, the FBI has no idea.
Clayton Eliminated the Only Evidence to Exonerate Alex
In an effort to hide his affair, Clayton deleted an email that could prove Alex’s innocence. The reason he deleted it is because the press might discover that he opened it at a hotel, a hotel where he was meeting his mistress at the time. Alex and Caleb have never been the best of friends, but Caleb had to do the right thing and keep a copy of it.
Shelby’s Secret Saudi Family Revealed
Caleb’s been suspicious of strange phone calls to Shelby for some time and though it prudent to report it to the bureau. It turns out that Shelby’s father was a military contractor in Saudi Arabia, met a woman, had a baby, and later left them for Shelby’s mother. He hid the existence of his Middle East family for two decades, but after they died, Shelby’s half-sister reached out for help. She’s been sending them money every month ever since and recently sent $1 million for the purchase of a house. Nothing bad, but it was no one’s business but her own.
Alex FINALLY Gets the Truth About Her Father
Alex needs to know who was responsible for the deaths of 204 people in Omaha. It turned out it was Liam, her father, and a bunch of other agents. They knew a local militia was up to something, but couldn’t figure it out before they detonated their bombs. If Alex reveals the truth, not only will Liam’s career be over, but the careers of many agents have ended up to be true heroes.
