Lord Capulet is the patriarch of the Capulet dynasty and is willing to maintain the legacy of his family's name at any cost.
Following his West End debut as Jesus in "Godspell," Anthony Head went on to star in many acclaimed stage productions in diverse roles including Absalom in Peter Shaffer's "Yonadab," Freddy Trumper in "Chess" and Frank 'n' Furter in "The Rocky Horror Show." His career went from strength to strength, with guest leading roles in many TV series throughout the late '70s and '80s including "Secret Army," "Enemy at the Door," "Love In a Cold Climate" and "Howard's Way."
His first forays into American television included a guest appearance on "NYPD Blue" and appeared in one season of the groundbreaking Fox series "VR5." A year later, he won the role of Rupert Giles in "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," a critically acclaimed series that achieved a cult status making him an international star. He also appeared in "Him and Us," directed by Charles Shyer, the U.S. version of "Free Agents" for NBC and "Warehouse 13" for Syfy, to name a few.
Back in the U.K., Head has continued to show his diversity as an actor starring in programs such as, "Manchild," "Persuasion," "Free Agents," and "Little Britain." He also appeared as a guest star in several notable dramas such as "Spooks," "Reversals" and "New Tricks." After a successful run at The Old Vic playing Flan in "Six Degrees of Separation," he finished filming Series 4 of the highly successful BBC1's "Merlin"; appeared alongside Meryl Streep in "The Iron Lady," directed by Phyllida Lloyd; Roger Spottiswoode's "A street cat named Bob"; and the highly anticipated "In betweeners Movie."
Head's additional credits include appearing in "Dancing on the Edge," directed by Stephen Poliakoff; and as Chiron in "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters," directed by Scott Alexander and produced by Chris Columbus. He was most recently seen reprising his role in the comedy "You, Me and Them" on Gold and NBC's "Dominion" on SyFy.
