The last time we saw Nick was during his infamous performance on the After the Final Rose special with Andi Dorfman, whose love he had failed to secure during that season. But Nick was bold enough during that special to reveal that he and Andi had sex in the Fantasy Suite:
That move didn't win him a lot of fans -- it was kissing and telling on a very large scale. But after Kaitlyn was eliminated from Chris Soules's sseason of The Bachelor she and Nick began chatting on social media and by text message.
That flirtation ended when Kaitlyn joined The Bachelorette, for obvious reasons, but Nick found something about Kaitlyn quite alluring -- enough so that he showed up in New York during Week 4 to tell Kaitlyn he wanted to become a contestant on her season:
Kaitlyn wasn't sure how to proceed -- she clearly feels something for Nick, but is it enough to upset all the other guys in the house? Wanting to be upfront with the other men, she told them she was considering bringing Nick aboard, a revelation they were quite predictably not thrilled to hear:
After a lot of back-and-forth on the subject, Kaitlyn made the decision to let Nick onto the show. Here she is telling him the good news (well for him at least):
The guys in the house range from ambivalent to somewhat disgusted to pretty angry. How will they welcome Nick into the fold? You'll have to tune in next week to see how it all goes down.
Watch The Bachelorette, Mondays 8|7c on ABC.
