Award-winning actor John Simm's prolific career encompasses extensive theatre, film and television credits.
His theatre work includes Pinter's The Homecoming and The Hothouse; Speaking in Tongues and Elling (Olivier Award nomination for best actor), in London's West-end; Patrick Marber's adaptation of Turgenev's Three Days in the Country, at the National Theatre; Pinter's Betrayal; and the title role in Shakespeare's Hamlet, at Sheffield Crucible.
John's numerous television credits include The Village, Prey, Intruders, Code of a Killer, Doctor Who, Life on Mars (BAFTA nomination for Best Actor), The Devil's Whore, Sex Traffic, Crime & Punishment, Exile (BAFTA nomination for best actor), State of Play, Clocking Off, The Lakes and Cracker.
