This refreshing cocktail is the perfect accompaniment to your bbq dish.

Low & Slow Cocktail
  • For the Whiskey Sour:
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce superfine sugar
  • Splash of water
  • Lemon wedge and maraschino cherry (for garnish)
For the Barbecue Rub Rim:
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • For the Whiskey Sour: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add bourbon, lemon juice, superfine sugar and a splash of water. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Pour into BBQ rub rimmed highball glass and garnish with a lemon wedge and maraschino cherry.
  • For the Barbecue Rub Rim: Combine salt, chili powder, paprika, coriander and sugar. Mix thoroughly.
