Apple-Ginger Rum Fizz
  • 1/4 apple (roughly chopped, plus wedge to garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • ice (to serve)
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the apple and lemon juice. Using a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon, muddle the apple. To the shaker, add a handful of ice and rum. Close shaker and shake vigorously to combine.
  • To a Collins glass filled with ice, pour over the cocktail. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with an apple wedge and serve with a straw.
  • Helpful Tip: for a mocktail, simply remove the rum or replace with spiced apple cider.
