Ingredients
Baked Brie Bread
  • 1 boule
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 (13-16 ounce) round Brie cheese (chilled, top rind removed)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
Directions
  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • On a clean workspace, using a serrated knife, cut 1-inch from the top of the boule, through the circumference, remove the top. Cut the top into 1/2-inch pieces and transfer to a baking sheet. Scoop an empty space into the base of the bread bowl that is the same circumference of the cheese, taking care not to cut all the way through. Cut slits almost all the way down the bread bowl, 1/2-inch apart and transfer to the baking sheet with the bread pieces. Brush the bread pieces and the inside of the bowl with olive oil and pour the jam into the center of the bread bowl. Place brie into the cavity, sprinkle with thyme and place in oven. Bake until cheese is hot and melted, about 20-22 minutes. Serve immediately.
  • Tip: Serve with a variety of crudite if having a party!
