Banana Bread Boat Fondue
  • 1 (1 pound) store-bought banana bread loaf
  • 2 cups chocolate hazelnut spread (warmed)
  • 1 cup half and half (warmed)
  • 1 quart strawberries (for serving)
  • 1 box shortbread cookies (for serving)
Directions
  • Preheat the oven to 425ªF.
  • Using a serrated knife cut out the center of the loaf of banana bread leaving a 1-inch boarder. Remove the center and cute into ½-inch pieces. Transfer to a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together the warmed chocolate hazelnut spread with the half and half until smooth. Pour into the carved out banana bread. Serve with toasted banana bread pieces, strawberries and shortbread cookies.
