Breakfast in a Hurry Smoothie
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2-3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups cherries (frozen and thawed)
  • 1/2 cup almonds or almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 bananas (peeled and frozen)
  • In a blender, add the yogurt, water, cherries, almonds, flaxseed, spinach and bananas. Blend until smooth, divide into two glasses and serve.
  • Tips:
    - Change up the ingredients, but keep in mind the basics of making a perfect smoothie: protein, fat, fiber, and flavor!
    - Store-bought frozen fruit is a great ingredient to keep on hand!
