Add elegance to your lunch plate by upgrading your everyday grilled cheese into Clinton's Apple jam and Brie sandwich!

Grilled Brie with Apples & Jam
  • 12 slices country bread
  • 1 jar raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 18 ounces brie (cut into slices)
  • 2 granny Smith apples (cored and sliced into round 1/4" pieces)
  • butter (to griddle)
  • Preheat a grill or sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Spread jam on one side of 2 slices of bread. Top with walnuts and then lay a few slices brie on top. Finish with a couple slices of apple. Sandwich the two halves together.
  • Place a few pats of butter on the griddle to lightly grease. Place the sandwich on the preheated griddle and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook until golden brown and the cheese is gooey and melted.
    - Place some brie on both sides of the bread so the sandwich sticks together.
    - Cover the grilled cheese with a lid while cooking to help melt the cheese.
    - Substitute the jam with your favorite berry flavored jam.
