Monster Mash Halloween Candy Bark
  • 24 ounces black candy coating
  • 12 ounces lime green candy coating
  • 12 ounces purple candy coating
  • 3/4 cup chocolate coated candies
  • 2 ounces pumpkin seeds
  • 2 ounces pistachio nuts (roughly chopped)
  • 1 ounce Monster Mix candy sprinkles
  • 7-8 snack-sized crisped rice chocolate candy bars (roughly chopped)
  • 1 ounce decorative candy eyeballs
  • Line a large baking pan or jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  • Begin melting your candy coating in the microwave. Pour each color into a separate microwave-safe bowl and heat up one after the other. Cook on high for one minute then stir and cook for another minute and stir again. Do this until your candy is smooth and melted perfectly.
  • Pour the black candy coating into your baking pan and smooth until even. Using a spoon, drop in alternating stripes of the other two Halloween colors and then swirl the colors using a spoon or skewer.
  • Start decorating by adding a handful of nuts, a scattering of candies and the googly eyes. Lightly press down with the palm of your hand to set the toppings into the candy.
  • When complete, pop the pan into the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Remove the candy and break the candy into different size pieces.
  • Store in a large zip-top bag or airtight container.
  • Tip: If you get distracted and find your black candy has hardened to quickly, you can swirl in your color candy coating, preheat your oven and pop your candy in for a few minutes--it will re-melt your candy.
