A delicious mocktail for your Thanksgiving dinner!

Spiced Apple-Ginger Fizz Mocktail
  • 1/4 apple (roughly chopped, plus wedge to garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 ounces spiced apple cider
  • 4 ounces ginger beer (or ginger ale)
  • ice (to serve)
Spiced Apple Cider
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole allspice
  • 4 whole cardamom pods
  • 2 whole cloves
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the apple and lemon juice. Using a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon, muddle the apple. To the shaker, add a handful of ice and spiced apple cider. Close shaker and shake vigorously to combine.
  • To a Collins glass filled with ice, strain and pour over the cocktail. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with an apple wedge and serve with a straw.
  • For Spiced Apple Cider: place 2 cups apple cider in a small saucepan. Add cinnamon sticks, allspice, cardamom pods and cloves. Bring to a simmer and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain and cool to room temperature and refrigerate.
  • Tip: add rum for a spike version of this holiday cocktail!
