Strawberry Malted Milkshake

You can never go wrong with a milkshake!

Strawberry Syrup:
  • 1 quart strawberries (stems removed, hulled, quartered)
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
Strawberry Malted Milkshake:
  • 1 quart strawberries (stems removed, hulled, quartered)
  • 1/2 cup malted milk powder
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • For Strawberry Syrup: In a medium sauce pot over medium-high heat, add strawberries, lemon zest and juice. Using a potato masher, mash until smooth but slightly chunky. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 5-8 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • For Strawberry Malted Milkshake: In the carafe of a blender, add the strawberries, malted milk powder, vanilla ice cream and Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth.
  • To Serve: Pour the milkshake into frozen glasses and top with the strawberry syrup and enjoy!
  • Tip: Chill the glasses before serving to keep the milkshake cold!
