By The View | Jan 28th, 2015

On the Wednesday January 28th 2015 episode of The View Mario Cantone shows Rosie O'Donnell how to make Banana Bread in Master Baking with Mario. Last week while crafting with Rosie O'Donnell, on the January 23rd 2015 episode, Mario asked Rosie O. to cook with him in a new segement called Master Baking with Mario. Today that dream was realized. Mario showed Rosie O. how to make Banana Bread. This tasty treat is pretty easy to make as Rosie O.  learns from Master Baker Mario. Watch the video below and join Rosie in a Master Baking lesson. Follow the recipe and watch the video below:

Banana Bread

7 or 8 large ripe bananas
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp of salt.
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 stick butter softened
3 eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease pans two foil loaf pans size (8” x 3 7/8") . Mash bananas in a bowl. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. With a mixer or beater, cream together sugar and softened butter—then beat in eggs and vanilla. After mixed, start to alternate stirring in bananas and dry ingredients. Pour into pans. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour then check—it has to be very moist and slightly undercooked. Cover them in foil as soon as they are out. Let cool for five hours.

Mario had some more sweet treats for Rosie O. after they finished.  Check out the photo below as things got hot in the faux kitchen when several handsome models delivered Banana Bread to Rosie O. and the audience. To watch all of Master Baking with Mario and today's full episode click here
